We are the Scottish charity for older people. We stand with and support people in Scotland so they can grow older with security, are valued and connected and have a good quality of life. We provide a free helpline and information service, support older people’s groups, promote age and dementia-friendly communities, host national forums for older people from ethnic minorities and the LGBTQ+ community, deliver workshops and wellbeing programmes, and campaign on behalf of older people.

Our workshops, courses, one-to-one and group support help people change the way they live with cancer. Every Maggie’s centre is a welcoming space where you can find support with money worries, tips on managing stress, and a friendly place to go when you need someone to listen. Our support is shown to improve physical and emotional wellbeing and to help people take control when cancer turns life upside down. Understanding everyone's individual circumstances is central to what we do. It means we can guide people to the support that will make the most difference to them.

Addiction, relationship breakdown, debt, homelessness, post-traumatic stress, depression and disability are all issues that can affect our members of our Armed Forces community. Many of these problems only become apparent when an individual has to leave their life in the Forces and join ‘Civvy Street’. SSAFA is committed to helping our brave men and women overcome these problems, and rebuild their lives.

Boxer Welfare Scotland has been a registered charity for just over 25 years. We cover all of Scotland rescuing and rehoming boxers, frenchies and bulldogs. We also, at times, take dogs from abroad, such as Turkey, Spain and Romania to name a few. All our dogs are vet checked neutered and vaccinated and we offer rescue back up for life. We are also the only suppliers in Scotland of pet oxygen masks (sourced from America as no suppliers in uk). We have donated kits to every fire station in Scotland and with this event we hope to raise money not only to help the dogs but to donate another 50 kits to the fire service.

Strathcarron Hospice is an independent hospice and all of our care is provided free of charge. Our services include a 24-bed inpatient unit, Hospice@Home, Community Nurse Specialists, Live Your Life and our Lymphoedema Clinic. We need to raise £19,452 every day to keep these services running, this is only possible thanks to the support and generosity of our local and wider community.
Every year, we provide care and support to people with a life-limiting illness or condition, at a time when both they and their family need it most. Our philosophy is about living until you die and we ensure people have every opportunity to achieve their goals right up until the last moment.
